CHI House Serene Joshua Tree Retreat I Cowboy Pool

We had a wonderful experience at the Chi House. The home had high quality furniture and finishings, was well taken care of, and had many thoughtful amenities. The property was quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect relaxing weekend we were looking for. The management company was very welcoming and communicative and offered to assist us with anything we needed but the house was well prepared so we didn’t need a thing. There was a smoke detector that started chirping while we were there, but one of the drawers was readily stocked with fresh batteries which made for an easy fix. We brought our dog with us. She is very clean and hardly sheds so we are always a little irked by having to pay additional pet fees. However, upon arrival our pup was greeted with a big, clean doggy bed and a few other essentials which was a nice surprise and made the pet fee feel much more palatable. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer :)

First thing, we loved the aesthetic design of it. The paintings and furtnitures are beautiful, and the hot tub was exactly what we wanted. The host responded within minutes, which was great. There are some insects that manage to get into the house, but there’s not much the host can do about it. Overall experience was great!

The CHI house was an incredible stay for our first time at Joshua Tree. The house was beautiful and spotless upon arrival, the area was filled with many activities, and our experience overall was 12/10. Will definitely stay here again for our next visit to JT!

Really special spot. Up a hill so the views are pristine. Home is modern and clean. Central air! Yoga mats and open floor plan is a plus. Bed is one of the most comfortable ever slept in. Jacuzzi is new and works so well!

Chi House was beyond my expectations! They were really responsive for any questions I had and forthcoming about anything I needed to know. Loved the couches and were perfect for lounging. I felt so comfortable and loved their kitchen! Sunset hits just right at the front of the house and you just feel the light come into the home. Perfect zen getaway stay!

Great place to stay, would recommend 100%. Went for the weekend with my fiancee. It's a beautiful home and felt very comfortable. It was nice to stargaze while using the hot tube, then drying off on the chair's outside and stargaze some more. We look forward to stay there again

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at the CHI House, and we enjoyed this time even more than the last! The location is so peaceful and quiet. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. We stayed for 4 nights and the place had everything we needed for that time. Amazing hosts!

We had a great trip. The house is in a very convenient location to all the local spots; Joshua Tree, JTNP, Yucca Valley, Landers, Pioneertown, 29 Palms, etc. There is plenty to do, see, eat, drink, and enjoy right around every corner. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and open, allowing you to relax after a day on the town or a day at the National Park. A plethora of amenities are included to make you feel right at home. The management team was very responsive and kind, which is always reassuring. All around, we were very satisfied with our stay and are excited to explore some of the other properties in the portfolio during future visits to this area.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable! The couch and the beds were a dream to sleep in, the bathrooms were so swanky and beautifully stocked, the kitchen was fit for a private chef. Take advantage of all the wonderful amenities, like the hot tub, soaking tub, and fire pit while stargazing.

It was our first little getaway since we had a baby and it couldn’t have been nicer. Beautiful weather, gorgeous view and space. I especially enjoyed the nighttime feedings in front of the fireplace. We took our dog, and a friend and really made the most of our stay at this property. Last year I took my brother who visited us from Germany and also chose a Homestead property.

We enjoyed our stay at the Chi house very much. It felt like a refuge in the desert - located close to Joshua Tree but far enough for a sense of privacy. The house was well equipped and furnished, and communication with Homestead Modern was very smooth. Wifi was spotty at times but reckon that’s because it is in the desert. I had such a great time escaping to Chi House Joshua Tree. There was a bottle of wine and a snack waiting for me which was a welcome site after a long day of driving! Both bedrooms have king beds which is an underrated but amazing feature. I brought my dog with and having a fenced in yard was the best. She was able to run to her hearts content! I used the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit, both of which were so nice in the evening in the chilly desert. Will definitely be coming back here on my next trip out to Joshua Tree.

All in all, was a great stay for us as we looked to unwind and catch some sun. A few minor things came up during our stay such as no paper towels, some beeping from the fireplace controller, and an over zealous fire pit flame. However, Homestead Modern was very responsive to each of these and didn’t impact how much we enjoyed the place. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Our party of three had a lovely stay here. The house is spacious and we enjoyed most all of the provided amenities — hot tub, washer/dryer, fireplace, and kitchen. The location is well situated between either the north or the west entrance for the park. Would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to JT.

The house is beautiful. It's spacious, very quiet, modern but not sterile. The kitchen is great for cooking. All of the appliances are new and work well. The outdoor space includes a great hot tub and fire pit. It is very close to Joshua Tree national park, and we were able to take a couple of great hikes.

This house was fantastic! As in the pictures, it is very stylish, spotless, and has amazing views of the sunrise over the mountains. It is 15 minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. We used the hiking guide books at the house to plan our excursion in the park. The kitchen was great for cooking, the hot tub was hot, and the cowboy pool was cold! We had a great dinner at Kitchen in the Desert, a really cute Caribbean restaurant 30 minutes away in 29 Palms - highly recommend. Homestead Modern was really responsive for questions and check in was a breeze. The house was a perfect home base for a great long weekend, we will be back!

Wow! This was a stay that I will always cherish. The clean smell right away made me relax. This place was exactly as described, and the perfect place for a little getaway for my fiancé and I! The place was very spacious, clean, and had every amenity you could need! we both enjoy cooking, and the kitchen was full equipped with all the appliances we needed to cook, and we also used the grill outside. It was a very peaceful and quiet stay, which was exactly what we needed. We were greeted in the house with a little welcome gift and note, which is always a nice touch. Amazing stay, made accommodations for us when things when a wry. Partner and I were very happy with both places and will be returning soon!
