Our Philosophy
Homestead Modern’s DNA is directly traceable to the homestead cabins of the not-too-distant past in the American West. Like their predecessors, Homestead Modern homes are simple structures designed to answer the primordial need in many of us to have a reasonably priced retreat in a beautiful place far removed from the stresses and routines of our daily lives

Our designs are timeless because we really do believe that form should follow function. And that durability and low maintenance are all the more important for vacation homes.
Architecture
Our homes may be small…but they live big. That’s because we make extensive use of glass – including sliding glass doors – that bring the outside in and make the homes feel much larger than they are. And ceiling heights are pushed up to give each room “breathing” room. We also use built-ins wherever possible to keep the floors free of clutter

The home consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry room and open kitchen, dining room and living room. It offers 1,496 square feet of conditioned living space. Exterior dimensions are approximately 44’ x 34’.
