We love Flamingo Heights and Lotus Lane was perfect for us. The spotlessly clean interiors are tastefully done in a desert modern style that is well-curated but still feels authentic. The turntable and records are a nice touch! Kitchen is modern and well-appointed, and the large tables in the kitchen area and immediately outside on the porch are great for spreading out. We made good use of the hot tub, cowboy pool and grill. The property is unusual in having so many things to do if one is so inclined, we mostly shot baskets (or at least tried) but the petanque court is awesome and tetherball is genius. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are spacious. But we mostly used the excellent and private outdoor shower. Property is not fenced in but has a few privacy walls that give it a very private feel. Hammocks are great for chilling. Restaurants La Copine and Giant Rock Meeting Room are amazing and just a short walk away. This is a perfect desert escape, we will be back!!

Safe, clean and comfortable stay in the desert! The kitchen was fully stocked and made it very easy to cook. Super cute decor with lots of outdoor activities. The place was so comfortable it was hard to leave. Highly recommend!!

Flamingo Heights is an absolute oasis, and Homestead Modern's listing fit perfectly *and beautifully* into the vibe. I took a solo trip to rest, relax, refresh, and just generally zen out. This checked all the boxes and more. I even saw a shooting star from the hot tub one night! ?

We had a wonderful stay - perfect place to kick back and do nothing, only to relax. The house has all you might need, it’s spacious and clean, the details are beautiful. When you are up for it, the yard has games to play, especially the kids loved them. We loved to barbecue at evenings, the sunset light is beautiful, and you can see the Milky Way when the night has set. Our family of four loved it and definitely recommend this place!

This is the perfect place if you’re looking for a peaceful escape out in the desert with all the amenities (and more) that give you the comfort of home. Everything was as described - the interior of the house was spacious and the outside area offers ample room to run around. We loved the amenities; everything you need is there and they even offer helpful guides and signs in the place to make your stay even more comfortable. Town is only a 15-minute drive away so any restocks and refills will be easy to fulfill. Definitely give this place a chance!

Joshua Tree is my favorite place to stay at least once a year. I'm so happy I picked this place!! Everything we needed was on site ... a pool, hot tub, basketball, etc. so besides leaving for the park, we didn't really leave the Airbnb at all! And the decor was perfect and made the space really peaceful. 10/10 would recommend.

This was one of the best airbnb's we've ever stayed at! The most comfortable beds, incredible amenities, washer/dryer too. The surrounding landscape was gorgeous and peaceful. This home was one of the best either of us have ever stayed in. Every detail considered for our comfort and enjoyment of our desert experience. All the linens, towels, amenities and kitchen appliances and wares were top quality. We would stay here again in a heart beat. We couldn’t decide on our favorite sitting area: the rocking chairs in the porch, the glider, the adorandak chairs on the sunrise patio or fire pit, the loungers, the hammocks or the hottub! Altogether it was perfect!!! Also the welcome wine and almond milk and snacks! If you’re gonna be in the Joshua Tree area, you’ve got to stay in this beautiful home!

Rested and rejuvenated. This was the best place to stay for a serene getaway. From playing games outside all day to relaxing in the hot tub, and roasting marshmallows under the stars. We couldn’t have been happier with this stay and will definitely make a trip back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this home in Flamingo Heights, which was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail, the thoughtful touches, and the perfect communication from the host. The interior decor was stylish, cozy, and perfectly suited to the desert setting. The living room was especially comfortable and inviting, with plenty of seating for our group to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring Joshua Tree National Park. The beds were large and very comfortable, and the bathrooms were well-stocked. But the real highlight of this Airbnb was the outdoor space. We spent lots of our time soaking in the hot tub and cooling off in the cowboy pool, which was the perfect way to beat the desert heat. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the clear night sky. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnbs that I've had the pleasure of staying in. Lotus Lane is a magical desert oasis, particularly in the moonlight! The home is very well appointed and comfortable - with excellent indoor/outdoor living in the flow from the kitchen to the covered patio. The backyard is spectacular with lots to do - and amazing views. By sunsets and evening star is fantastic. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. This is a great spot for a relaxing desert getaway - and even thought it is a bit away from town, there is a small market, general store, and pizza place and pub with live music right at the end of the lane. We would definitely come again.

Our stay was stellar. We were amazed at how well the interior was decorated with boho and retro themes. The host was kind enough to leave us a bottle of rosé. The first thing we did after arrival was hope in the hot tub and gaze at the stars! The following day couldn’t have been more peaceful and relaxing! Great location to visit Joshua Tree National park (15 minutes drive) or to simply enjoy the desert. Nicely setup home and outdoor. Only 2 minutes from La Copine restaurant (great food).

Great home that had everything we needed. The kitchen was totally stocked to make food or to serve takeout. Plenty of outdoor space with tons of yard games and the hot tub was excellent. 2 things to note, it is pretty far from Joshua Tree National Park. If you are planning to visit more than 1 day, it’s a bit of a commute. The other thing is that the EV charger didn’t fit our Tesla model 3. The closest Tesla charger is about 13 mins away and is NOT a supercharger…one of the reasons why we picked this home is because it said it had a charger…possibly an assumption on our part. Other than that, the home was amazingly curated and felt right at home. Plenty of peaceful space to spread out and enjoy the sun!

Thank you for your review, Michael. We loved that you enjoyed your stay at Lotus Lane. We would like to inform any future guests and yourself that our EV chargers just need a J-1772 adapter for Teslas to be able to charge with it. Also, the supercharger in the town of Yucca Valley is a 250.0 kW supercharger with 16 stalls, one of the fastest in the region. You would need to navigate to the supercharger in order to pre-condition your battery for fast charging.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Secluded and private, but also close to shops and restaurants. The interior is warm and cozy and made for the perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in or around the Joshua tree area.
