This place exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical at first as a first time airbnb user. Everything was so easy. Great outdoor space for pets. The kitchen and everything it had stocked up for the stay was phenomenal. From the plates, to the pots and pans. Every basic necessity you can think of. The pool was a perfect temp every time we stepped foot in it. Very quiet peaceful space. Sunrise and sunsets were so beautiful to see. Even though the weather called for above 95 degrees there was always a nice breeze blowing which made it feel more like 75. The indoor space was beautiful, from the wall decor to the chairs next to the fireplace, very comfortable and spacious. Felt like a 5 star hotel resort. I would definitely stay here again in the future. I wanted an escape from the stress of everyday work life and that’s exactly what I go. 10/10 would recommend.

Our family had great time. We all loved the pool, especially the kids. Desert sunsets each evening were really beautiful. The home was clean and very cute. Simple and modern decor. Just like the pictures. This place was great and accommodating for a very last minute booking! The pool is also much bigger than most listings in the areas. Because it was so hot out (110!) the pool temperature was really warm at first but by the next morning it was perfect!

I spent the weekend here with three girlfriends and we stayed on site all weekend - this house is perfect for cooking, relaxing and also having your own space to retreat to. The property was well decorated, had a gorgeous desert view, was quiet with an amazing pool. Easily one of the most well stocked kitchen AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in. The host was super responsive. The beds and linens were very comfy. We’re already scheming about coming back!

This was the perfect getaway for a couple girlfriends and me to relax in beautiful surroundings and accommodations. Everything was spotless and professionally maintained. We had a wonderful family getaway at this Homestead Modern home! The house was perfect for our family! It was clean, spacious and was stocked with everything we needed for the long weekend! The backyard was exactly what our active goldendoodle needed! He enjoyed exploring and sunbathing by the pool with us. The management team was very kind, communicative and always responsive! The house is a 9 min walk to a hiking trail and 10 min drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. We loved our stay and would definitely reserve this home again!

We had an amazing time visiting Joshua Tree and this was the perfect home base. We loved watching the sun rise at the fire pit, enjoying the cozy bedrooms to the perfectly warmed pool and hot tub. My friends and I stayed here for Coachella and we were beyond satisfied with the level of service. We had a small issue with the drain in the bathroom the night we arrived and someone came and fixed it immediately the very next morning. Everything was clean, beautiful and spacious. The backyard was gorgeous, even saw rabbits hopping around in the early mornings. The pool is large and the hot-tub was great. The fireplace and the bonfire were super easy to use and gave the experience a nice touch. Only issue we had, which I think might have been due to the hot-tub usage, was that for most of our stay there wasn’t any warm water in the showers. This only happened after the hot-tub was used. The office space was locked but we didn’t inquire because we didn’t need it, might need to be requested.

This Airbnb is a phenomenal retreat that has its own private oasis. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard, the pool and hot tub were amazing. This Airbnb was far enough away from the city, that you got the full Joshua tree experience with it being quiet and being able to enjoy nature, while also being close enough to the Palm Springs area, that you could make easy day trips back-and-forth. We would highly recommend this Airbnb, and plan to return next spring.

Absolutely loved our stay at Homestead Modern and was the perfect size and accommodations for us and our 2 grown children and their spouses. We had a golden-doodle, who loved the well-fenced backyard, and the house was within easy walking distance to one of the Joshua Tree trails. The house was immaculate and well-appointed, with nice views from the back patio. Will definitely come again!

What a beautiful home to stay in with so many amenities! I booked this place for my Birthday with a few friends, and everyone was impressed! First off the pool and hot tub... stunning to look at with the blue light at night and we used that hot tub 3 times during our stay. We would have used it more but the weather was quite crazy, we saw it all from snow to blue skies and even a rainbow! The fireplace also was such a fun addition, and set the mood, plus it was so easy to use with a remote. The beds and linens were luxurious and the kitchen had everything you needed. We didn't use the BBQ cause of the weather but it would have been great, I'm sure. The town of Joshua Tree has a bunch of cute places to go and the National Park is SO CLOSE! Also there are a few big Joshua Tree's in the yard which add to the awesomeness of this place! Homestead was quick to respond to any issues and the check-in and out was simple with that keypad. I would definitely stay again!

We visit Joshua Tree several times a year, and so enjoyed our week long stay at this property! The house was pristine, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the outdoor amenities were very nice. Homestead Modern had a manager available by phone for immediate service, and they took care of issues right away with very little impact on our vacation time. We appreciate that Homestead Modern hires local workers and pays them a living wage, as we recognize the impact that vacation rentals have on the local economy of Joshua Tree. We plan to stay at Homestead Modern properties again.

This was our fourth stay at a Homestead Modern house, and like all the other times it was a perfect experience. They anticipated so many of our needs, many (like bluetooth speakers) that we didn't even think of. If I had to choose between two AirBNB rentals, and one said it was operated by Homestead Modern and other didn't, I would always choose Homestead Modern.

There's everything in the house, especially the kitchen. even recipe for cocktail. We were gonna eat in those restaurants but ended up cooking at home after seeing all those stuffs in the kitchen. the hot bath tub is the best! really large, modern, and clean place. hope I can come back with more friends in the future

We really enjoyed our time here! The location is very convenient to get into Joshua Tree National Park, and it was also nice being so close to large grocery stores, pharmacies, and even Joshua Tree Saloon, which has good food and live music on the weekends. The house itself was very clean and spacious, and we loved using the gas fireplace inside, as well as the fire pit outside! Wonderful desert views with beautiful sunsets we could watch from the hot tub as well. Communication with the host was very easy, and they were quick to respond to any of my questions. I definitely recommend you stay here for your trip to Joshua Tree!

The home is very lovely and well appointed. Shower was great. Pool and jacuzzi were wonderful, as well as views from both the back and front yard. The location is very close to one of the Park entrances, and was just around the corner from an event we were attending. Bed and linens were comfortable; kitchen was well stocked; our host left some sparking wine we enjoyed after our drive from LA. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom, and the only thing I felt lacking were some small lamps on the bedside tables. I would book this house again. The management company was very responsive.

The house is a quick drive into town. It feels quiet, private comfortable, very very clean, and well located near a walking trail which we enjoyed daily. The kitchen is well stocked and lovely to cook and stay in for any meal. We enjoyed the grill, the pool, and the hot tub outside. The home was great, clean and in a great location. Only downside was that the garage door was locked so we did not have access to the washer/dryer, as listed. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but it definitely would have been if we had stayed longer. Overall, the experience was great and I will definitely stay here again.

A bit pricy: The 5 five adults in our party visiting the listing from different URLs contributed to the impression of “high interest” in the property for our planned weekend …..so the price was raised dramatically just as we were booking and justified by the apparent “high interest”. One of the best airbnbs Ive stayed at! The house was gorgeous, pool amazing, great amenities and appliances, even a dog bed! Views were stunning with good little restaurants nearby and a trail in the neighborhood! Fully fenced and private yard, just watch out for the cacti! The host was super nice and accommodating when we decided to extend our stay and was just so friendly and helpful overall. I highly recommend this rental! I cant say enough good things about it. Stop searching and wondering if this place is the one. It is. Anything Homestead Modern lists on Airbnb is worth it and this spot is no different. This is a getaway that has everything you need and you don’t want to miss this amazing experience. They some how make you feel like you’re at a luxurious resort in Malibu and you forget you’re in the middle of the desert. The home is filled with meticulously stocked items to ease your mind from needing anything more. Not once did I wish this place had anything more. They had it all. 10/10

SO relaxing. This is the perfect getaway to desert. The pool and hot tub with the view… you can’t beat it!! The house is so clean, modern and comfortable with everything you need. My 3 musts: good showers, comfortable pillows and good energy - all 3 checked out perfectly! Our dogs had the best time and are still wiped out from the fun. There are neighbors nearby but you wouldn’t know because it’s so private and quiet. The gas fire pit was a great addition and the view of the stars…. Can’t beat it. Enjoyed my stay, this is about 40 mins from skull rock, heart rock, split rock, etc. Everything you would want to do. Cooked all the food on the same grill you will be using and it was fantastic. Spent the whole time in the pool and didn't hear another family or cars the entire stay. Very relaxing and I bet you'll be glad you rented this for your family or friends.

Incredible... Quiet and peaceful with stunning views! There's a nature trail within walking distance that feels like you're in the park. Saw many cute quail families, bunnies and even some roadrunners on the property. Very convenient location for everything. Furnishings are high end and really comfy. They've added another sofa, outdoor seating and decor since the pics were taken. Water pressure for the rain showers is amazing! It's professionally managed so it's more like a hotel than a typical airbnb. Pool and spa are gorgeous, perfect for photo shoots.
