-ACTIVITIES/ATTRACTIONS-
Visitors come to the High Desert for its unique landscape, culture, and recreational opportunities, as well as for the weather - hot and dry summers and mild winters at our high altitude. Joshua Tree and the communities surrounding the Joshua Tree National Park include Flamingo Heights, Pioneertown, Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, and Landers. You’ll be close to all the action at Sacred Haven. Some of our favorite options available to you:

–Joshua Tree National Park: 800,000 acres of mystical beauty - Joshua Tree National Park is one of the world’s most incredible natural desert treasures. Sweeping, grand in scale and populated by granite monoliths and voluptuous rock and boulder formations. This quiet land, conducive to meditation and roaming, was carved by extremes in climate - wind, rain and an ever-present, relentless sun. Diverse forms of plant life are found everywhere, but none as unique or prevalent as the park’s namesake: the Joshua tree, standing majestically across the vast topography.

–Pioneertown: Step back in time to thus rustic Old West-style village. Wander through the historic buildings, visit unique shops, catch a live music performance at Pappy & Harriets, and experience the Wild West charm.

• The Integratron: New age-y healing destination with a sound bath, originally designed by ufologist George Van Tassel with the goal of reversing the aging process.

Everything at your fingertips and more, when you book with us today!
Access Access
You will have the entire house and property to yourself. There is a small storage shed in the backyard that is not available for guests.

Up for a day trip? Don’t miss these area highlights - they’re worth the drive.
• Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum (15-minute drive) - As far from a stuffy gallery as you can imagine, this outdoor sculpture garden contains a unique collection of folk-art.
• Pioneertown (20-minute drive) - Put on your ten-gallon hat and stroll down Mane Street of this Wild West-inspired town, also known for Pappy & Harriet’s, a notable restaurant and venue.

I think this place is alittle over priced for what the home is, you can probably find other places that offer more for the same price to stay here. Other then that the tub is wonderful nice and deep the space is quiet and walking distance into the park which was nice. The space has panoramic views and the sunrise and sunset were very nice to watch from here. Close enough to nearby local restaurants but key thing was it is very very close to joshua tree park.

I enjoyed my stay at Sacred Haven. It was a cute, small modern property with scenic views. Loved being so close to Joshua Tree Park too. They had everything we needed. They were also quick to respond when I reached out. Hope to stay here again soon!

We loved our stay here in Joshua Tree. The home is built with a 180 degree view of the mountain range where the sun sets. The hot tub is another great place to appreciate the desertscape. If you live in a big city you can come here to see the stars a lot more clearly. Very quiet and peaceful.

Great Location, Great Host. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay and will definitely rebook again. Nothing beats the cowboy pools in that desert heat! When I checked out and got home I realized I left behind a personal item. Homestead Modern was quick to secure my personal belongings and send it to me very fast!!! Thanks Again! 10/10

We had a great time here! Perfect for one or two people. Property is as advertised. Photos are accurate. Extremely close to park entrance. Management company was very proactive with communications. Cowboy tubs were great during the hot days. Two very minor notes: - Neighbors are a little bit closer than they appear in aerial photo - Took a while for the AC to be able to cool the house down upon arrival (but it was 104 degrees outside)

Sacred Heaven was the perfect spot to stay. Private and clean. Perfect stay if you’re planning to visit Joshua Tree. Set up was nice and accommodating. Host was super helpful and responsive when I had issues with the pad lock getting in. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful place! My only comment would be that the A/C was shut off upon arrival so it was very warm inside and took a while to cool off. Other than that we loved our visit! Beautiful views, Cowboy tubs were awesome for cooling off, and right around the corner from the national park! Highly recommended this for a couples getaway!

Hello Daniel! We love that you had a great experience and enjoyed the proximity to the park. The Mojave Desert experiences extreme high temperatures during the summer months. Due to the extreme heat outside, it may take a bit longer than expected for the house to cool down completely. We understand that waiting for the house to cool down can be frustrating, especially after a long journey or a day spent exploring the beautiful desert. However, with a little patience, you'll soon experience the refreshing coolness that awaits you inside.

Hi, I would just like to say that this place is fantastic in every sense. It was my gf, our golden doodle and multi-poo, and myself. The home was prepared with the doggy beds and couch covers which made it 1000x easier. The kitchen is very well assorted with anything you need for cooking. Bedroom, and restroom with tub is excellent. The day we were at Joshua tree all morning we came back and jumped in the cowboy tubs. It was a great touch because you just relax there and enjoy the landscape. First time and probably not our last time great experience!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sacred Haven, for good reason. The property is well appointed with upscale decor in a beautiful setting. The home has been very well maintained and was impeccable upon our arrival. The amenities provided a great start to each day: watching the sunrise over the park in the Adirondacks; coffee in front of the fire pit; yoga (mats provided) in the backyard listening to the birds… followed by amazing hikes in JT and other nearby adventures. The hot tub under the stars was a soothing and peaceful way to end the day. We appreciated the luxury bedding, towels and comfy bed. The kitchen was also well equipped for meal prep and dining as well as an easy to use Bbq grill. We would highly recommend this home and hope to return to the area again soon!

This location offers excellent amenities and is conveniently situated near a national park, making it an ideal choice after a long day of hiking. The house boasts an abundance of natural light and stunning views from the dining room. Outside, there is a fire pit with seating and picturesque views of the mountains and desert. We had a memorable experience grilling meat and enjoying wine while watching the sunset. Although we only used the jacuzzi due to the weather, we were able to stargaze while soaking in the hot tub. The water tubs would be perfect during the summer months. The bathroom is updated and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and paraben-free and sulfate-free dishwashing soap and handwash. This house is located in one of the best spots in Joshua Tree, and we even caught a glimpse of the famous glass house from the property. Overall, it was an excellent choice for a weekend getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay, we can’t wait to come back! All the natural light in this home and the Mountain View’s make this stay so relaxing. The hot tub was my favorite part especially since the weather was a bit cooler then we expected. It is right next to a park entrance and close to downtown. Highly recommend!!!

Comfortably modern, easy to rest location. Would have changed some arrangements of things, living room layout needed shifting to watch TV, pathways to hot tub/cowboy baths were gravel rather than paved slabs, that sort of thing. PDF guide for location claimed there was a record player and records, and a 'smaller house' with washer/dryer, though this wasn't the case. There was locked and half constructed buildings out back, a reconstructed cargo container full of dust and loose tools, but no access and no washer/dryer. Text contact with the host claimed there was an area within the house as you enter, to the left, that had the the washer/dryer, but the front door literally opens up into the expansive interior. The smaller rooms within the house are the bedroom and bathroom. We stayed in winter, so the heating was welcome and cowboy tubs were not used. Great time, would recommend and stay again if there were some improvements.

Thank you so much for staying with us and we appreciate your feedback, sadly this home does not have a record player nor is the washer/ dryer in a small house. The washer/dyer is located on the side of the house for guests to access and we have a wonderful bluetooth speaker in the home to enjoy. We will take a close look at our PDF and hope to host you again.

The location of this beautiful spot right near the west entrance to the park is fantastic. The stars were incredible, the sun rising over the mountains in the morning was fantastic, and the house was quiet. It was easy for us to sleep three on a relaxing girls weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed. We’d definitely come back here again.

Enchanting! The property backs up to Joshua Tree Natl Park boundary and is only 1/10 of a mile to the West entrance gate. Although there are other homes nearby, it is very peaceful & private. The house is lovely & comfortable with all the essentials though spartan. The all-around windows provide the decorations with wonderful views. The kitchen & gas grill provided all we needed to eat in while there. We picked up groceries in nearby Yucca Valley as there isnt much in the town of Joshua Tree. Bathroom is luxurious & hot tub divine. Gas firepit was nice feature and there are lots of outdoor chairs for stargazing. Bed was very comfy & hosts were very responsive.

Beautiful secluded spot! The house was in a great location right by the entrance to the park. A bottle of wine was left for us to enjoy upon arrival! It was freezing cold so the cowboy tubs were out of service but the hot tub was perfect. Took a long time to heat up so don’t expect to go in your first night but it was perfect our second night. Couch was not the comfiest to lounge on BUT overall this place was such a wonderful escape for a couple of days!

Can’t say enough about this beautiful home in a private stunning setting. Proximity to park entrance made for easy access directly into JT. The home was well appointed and beautifully furnished. We had coffee around the fire pit at sunrise and gazed at the moon and stars in the hot tub at night.

This property was absolutely perfect for our trip. We stayed for a full week, and loved the location, not only for its privacy and star gazing, but the convenience for entering Joshua Tree would be difficult to beat. The house itself is simple and modern, with a very functional and clean kitchen. We did all our own cooking at the house, and appreciated the full size fridge, as well as the BBQ and fire pit. The hosts were extremely responsive, and the house is very pet friendly with modern laminate flooring. We would definitely book this place again, but do be aware of two items if you stay here, both fairly minor (will be mentioning these to the rental company, so it is possible they will improve these two features). 1. The kitchen is currently poorly lit, so if you are planning to do your own cooking at night. 2. The bedroom does nor currently have much organized (basically just a hanger rod and one shelf) Otherwise, incredible place!

This was one of my favorite Airbnb’s ever. It was so well represented. Very well equipped and outfitted. It was easy to grocery shop and cook meals too. There were so many special pieces available such as a great fire pit, hot tub, and cowboy tubs, We also loved the location! So great!! We loved daily walks into Joshua Tree National Park for beautiful hikes! We felt so lucky to be able to sit and watch the abundant wild life and sit outside and look at the mountains. It really was an overall wonderful experience!

The host was available if any questions arises and everything went well from check-in to check-out and everything on between. It has been a stress free vacation and we would definitely book it again!

Perfect home for our trip to Joshua Tree. The location is right next to the park entrance & the amenities were amazing. We used both the cowboy tubs and the hot tub during our stay - cowboy tub was great after a hike and hot tub was amazing at night while watching the stars. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Neighbors were closer than the pictures indicated but we still felt like we had complete privacy. Highly recommend staying here for a trip to Joshua Tree!

Wonderful place. Very clean, with nearly any amenity you might need, and quite a cozy spot. The hot tubs are great but the cowboy tubs turned out to be a really nice feature - we used ours for ice/contrast baths. Incredibly close to the park. Wonderful sunsets and other views as well. If there was one thing I could say as a criticism is that it is not as secluded as the pictures may seem. You have a neighbor say 100yds away. However the house was really great and was a nice place for a weekend vacation.

Excellent location right at the park entrance. Quiet and peaceful with great views. House was well appointed. Email communication and check in was seamless and easy. The only downside was the king bed…it was forgettable unless you like very, very soft and squishy mattresses.

Our stay here was AMAZING, the pictures don’t do it justice. The Airbnb is beautiful, with stunning panoramic views of the desert landscape. The host has clearly taken a lot of care to set the place up with a lot of attention to detail- the furniture, the decor, the well stocked kitchen, the games provided- everything was top notch. It was too hot for us to use the hot tub, but we loved cooling off in the cowboy pools. My only con would be that when we checked in, it was sweltering hot and felt like a sauna as none of the AC’s we’re on and we arrived in the middle of a heat wave (it was 110 degrees inside). It took a little while for the place to cool down, but then the AC’s did a good job keeping the place cool for the rest of the trip.

A real paradise. The place, the house, everything is gathered there to spend an unforgettable moment. In the evening, the sky is beautiful with lots of stars and during the day, nature regains its rights with a magnificent parade of animals. The house is very beautiful, well arranged and very comfortable. We don’t want to leave!

This place was beyond perfect! Everything you could possibly need was already included. (Sandwich bags, foil, brand new dish sponge, shampoo/conditioner/body wash). The only negative I have is that we weren’t able to turn on the fireplace (was a bit more complicated than stated in the directions), but other than that I enjoyed my stay! :)

We checked in around 8:30pm at night and it was extremely easy! My code was provided a couple hours before check in and I had no issues checking in when we made it. The house is extremely close to the park (2mins from west entrance of JT park) which made it so easy to go back and forth from hikes as well as stargazing! One thing is that the drone shot of the house is a bit misleading as the neighbors are closer than you think but not a big deal as it was still very private and quiet! No need for a 4 wheel drive as the road isn’t too bumpy even though it is unpaved. The driveway was paved and easy to get in and out of as well. Entering the house. It was smaller than expected but honestly the perfect size for 2. Having 4 in this house would be a bit tight as there is only one restroom and the second bed would be a pull out couch. The inside of the house is a bit dim at night so it makes it kind of difficult to cook but it’s doable if you only have 2 people! I do love that this house has blinds all around the house to block out the sun however at night time if you have your blinds drawn you can actually see fully into the house from the street. I do wish that the dining table was a bit larger (it was more of a breakfast nook) but it was still decent! For the living room there was 2 couches, one dark and one light. The dark one had…questionable white stains on it ? and the light one had big stains as well so they definitely were not cleaned recently. We didn’t use the dark couch and just placed a blanket over the white one. The TV was nice and it had all streaming services available however the internet is a bit spotty so keep that in mind and download a couple movies in advance so it doesn’t lag when you watch it! The little study area was also adorable and so serene to sit at when getting some work done. The owners also provided a bottle of wine and local snacks which were appreciated ?. The bedroom was very simple and had a nice large soft bed with its own ac unit as well so we were always cool. The bathroom was spotless and the MASSIVE tub was my favorite thing in the house! There were 4 towels provided and a couple small hand towels as well. The outside of this house was beautiful! It had 6. Chairs in the front for beautiful sunset views with a fire pit while the back had 4 chairs pointing towards a backyard full of Joshua trees. The cowboy tubs were so cute and fun as well! There is also a laundry room attached outside of the house if needed and a bbq area which opens into the living room of the house. As for communication with the host, it was always pleasant and quick! We had a little mishap with a vase (my bf knocked it over while turning the lights off) and they were quick to resolve it with us! They also left the AC on for us beforehand as I read in the reviews that the house takes a while to cool down which was very nice of them. Overall this place was a nice place to stay and amazing for those who want to be nearby to the park. It comes with basic amenities but enough to get the job done well.

My husband and I went away with our two pups for a week away where we could melt into the desert and this location couldn’t have been more perfect. We were literally one street away from Joshua tree national park which made quick trips on hot days super easy. The home was beautifully and simplistically decorated and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook every meal. We enjoyed our stay so much, we ended up adding one more night because we didn’t want to leave. Definitely recommend the visit and hope to stay there again.

Husband and I spent a mini two night vaca here and LOVED it. Impeccable location right next to the park and a short 9 minute drive from town. Lovely home with modern touches and incredible 360 degree views Things we LOVED - the soaking cowboy tubs. It was perfect in the heat of the day to cool down and read - the location (literally 2 minutes from the park and felt so private) - the views (sunset was prime) - how quiet it was - the bed (so comfortable) Only downside was the AC was not on when we arrived and took a little while to cool down but other than that, no complaints! We will definitely come back again!

The place was great! Great view, great location, very clean home. We did have an issue with the hot tub . We checked in on a Monday and it had obviously not been cleaned that Monday like the listing stated it would be. I did get a quick response when I contacted the host but it took a while to get resolved. I was bummed we didn’t get to use it the hot tub but the cowboys tubs were incredible. I would stay again here.

The bath products were great, the towels fluffy, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the bedding was so comfortable! There wasn’t a thing we needed that we couldn’t find in the house. And IT’S SO CUTE.
